Adding a menu to your page

With a menu built, putting it in front of customers takes two minutes: add it to a page, and point a code at the page.

Add the menu element

1. Open the page in the editor (Qbits → your page).
2. On the Content tab, click Add and choose Menu from the Components group.
3. Click Manage on the new element and select your menu from the list. A green card confirms the connection.
4. Publish the page.

That's it — the page now renders the menu's published version. The same menu can live on any number of pages, and the element's Open menu builder link jumps you back to editing it.

Two switches to understand

A menu shows publicly only when it's both:

1. Published — you've clicked Publish in the menu builder. If not, the element shows an amber "Not published yet" reminder in the editor.
2. Active — the toggle in the menu's details. Retiring a menu (turning Active off) takes it off every page at once without deleting it — perfect for a seasonal menu between seasons.

Making it look right

The menu inherits your page's theme automatically, so it matches the rest of your brand out of the box. For finer control, open the element's style panel: every part — section titles, item names, descriptions, prices, images — has its own styling, and you can toggle the visibility of images, descriptions, prices, and sold-out badges per page.

The classic setup

1. Build the menu, publish it.
2. Add it to a page, publish that.
3. Create a QR code pointing at the page and print it on table tents.
