Using Pexels stock photos

Need a photo but don't have one? Qbit has the Pexels free stock photo library built into the editor, on every plan.

Where to find it

Free Photos live inside the media picker — the panel that opens whenever you choose an image for something (an Image element, a menu item, a background).

1. Open any image picker — for example, select an Image element and click Select.
2. Switch to the Free Photos tab. It opens with a curated selection, so there's inspiration before you even search.
3. Search for what you need — try specific phrases like "coffee shop" or "live music". Results load as you type.
4. Click a photo to preview it, then click Use this photo.

The photo is added to your media library and applied to whatever you were editing, in one step.

What happens behind the scenes

• A phone-optimized copy is imported — resized and compressed for fast loading on the devices that scan your codes.
• The copy is stored with your media, so your page keeps working even if the photo is ever removed from Pexels.
• The photographer's credit is saved into the item's description automatically.

Usage and licensing

Pexels photos are free to use, including commercially, under the Pexels license — no attribution required (though photographers appreciate it). Once imported, the photo behaves like any other library item: rename it, reuse it across pages, organize it into folders.

One note: the Free Photos tab is for images only — it won't appear when you're picking a PDF. And if you'd rather use your own photography or brand assets, upload them or import from Canva.
