Connecting to Canva and using Canva designs
Bring your Canva designs straight into your media library.
If your designs live in Canva, you can bring them straight into Qbit — no downloading and re-uploading. The Canva integration is included with Premium and Team plans.
Connect your Canva account
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- On the Canva card, click Connect.
- Authorize Qbit in the Canva window that opens. You'll return with a green Connected badge.
The connection is personal to you — it follows your login across any team you belong to. You can disconnect from the same card anytime; designs you've already imported stay in your library.
Import a design
- Go to Media → New media item and scroll to Import from Canva (the same option appears in every media picker while you're editing a page).
- Your Canva designs appear as thumbnails — pick one.
- Give it a name, and choose how to import it: as an Image (PNG) or a Document (PDF).
- Click Import. The design lands in your media library, ready to use anywhere.
Keep designs in sync
Imported designs are copies — editing in Canva doesn't change your Qbit library automatically. Instead, you stay in control of when updates go live:
- When a design has changed in Canva, its library item shows an amber Out of date badge.
- Open the item and click Sync from Canva to pull the latest version — it updates everywhere the file is used.
- Sync all Canva media in the Media page header refreshes everything at once.
- Edit in Canva on any imported item jumps straight to the design in Canva, so the loop is: edit there, sync here, done.
This makes Canva a genuine design workflow for your pages: design and iterate in Canva, publish and track in Qbit.
