Working with elements

Elements are the building blocks of a page. Stack them, arrange them, and style them - that's the whole model.

Adding an element

1. On the Content tab, click Add (the top button inserts at the top of the page; the bottom one appends to the end).
2. Pick an element from the three groups:

Content

• Text - body copy.
• Heading - a heading, levels 1 through 6.
• Image - an image from your media library.
• Link - a button that opens an external site or another of your Qbit pages.

Components

• PDF Viewer - display a PDF right on the page.
• Social Links - a row of icons for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitch, YouTube, and X.
• Form - collect submissions with a form you've built (Premium).
• Menu - a restaurant menu (Premium).
• Untappd Menu - a live beer menu from Untappd for Business (Premium).

Layout

• Frame - a container that groups elements, with its own background and border.
• Spacer - vertical breathing room, sized in pixels.

Arranging and managing

Every element row has the same controls:

• Drag handle - reorder by dragging, including into and out of Frames.
• Palette icon - open the element's style panel (fonts, colors, spacing - see Styling and themes).
• Eye icon - hide an element without deleting it. Handy for seasonal content.
• Copy - duplicate the element in place.
• Delete - remove it.

A structure that works

For a typical landing page: an Image (logo), a Heading, a line of Text, then your Link buttons, with Social Links at the bottom. Start there, then let the content earn its complexity - the best-scanning pages are short, focused, and lead with the action you want people to take.
