Bulk-creating QR codes

Generate many codes at once for campaigns and locations.

Launching a campaign across many locations, tables, or flyers? Bulk create makes up to 200 codes in one pass.

Creating codes in the table

  1. Go to QR Codes and click Bulk create.
  2. Fill in a row per code. Every field is optional — blank names become "Untitled QR code":
    • Name — how you'll recognize the code later.
    • Destination — choose URL and paste a link, or choose Qbit and pick one of your pages.
    • Tags — comma-separated labels for filtering later (Premium).
    • Description — optional notes.
  3. New blank rows appear automatically as you type; use Add row if you want more.
  4. Click Create N QR codes. You'll return to your QR Codes list with the whole batch ready.

Importing from a CSV

If your list already lives in a spreadsheet:

  1. Click Download CSV template to get a file with the expected columns: Name, Destination, Tags, Description.
  2. Fill it in — column order doesn't matter, and extra columns are ignored. Include at least a Name or Destination column.
  3. Click Import CSV and select your file. Rows appear in the table for review before you create anything.

One thing to know: CSV destinations are always treated as external URLs. To point a bulk-created code at a Qbit page, set that row's destination in the table after importing.

Limits and notes

  • Up to 200 codes per batch. The batch counts against your plan's QR code total (Starter includes 3 codes, Premium 100, Team unlimited).
  • Bulk-created codes start with the default design. Open any code afterward to customize it.
  • Tags in the batch require Premium — on the Starter plan they're skipped.

After creating, use the table view's checkboxes to act on many codes at once — move to a folder, add tags, or connect an ad to the whole batch.
